PARIS À TRAVERS LA VITRE

Victor Feillant, 30, began his career as a street photographer. For over ten years, he traveled the world—from New York to Tokyo, passing through Venice—capturing the unique colors and movements of each place.

This series of eight photographs, taken between September and October 2024, marks a pivotal stage in his artistic journey. After two years dedicated to advertising photography, Victor had lost the deeper meaning of his art.

To reconnect with his inspiration, he set himself a challenge: to go out every day for a month and photograph Paris and its people. Through the windows of cafés, restaurants, and buses, he observed the city come to life. People love, laugh, embrace, and rest, and Victor captures these moments with a keen eye for light and color.

Green, blue, yellow, and red contrast and interact in vibrant compositions, reflecting his obsession with intense and contrasting hues. This series is more than just a portrayal of Parisian life—it is a return to his roots, a reconciliation with his art. These suspended moments, almost dreamlike, evoke memories or dreams, offering an intimate and poetic vision of the capital.

Exhibition at Café Lomi from March 1 to April 2, 2025
